Pure Professor is for experienced feng shui practitioners who would like to deepen their knowledge of Black Sect feng shui. In this program you will gain access to Katherine’s exclusive archive of Professor’s teachings, as well as her 40+ years of experience.

Each module is a robust and carefully curated collection of documents, audio and video files that tells a feng shui story. 

THIS IS A SELF-STUDY COURSE (LIFETIME ACCESS) WITH LIVE Q&A ZOOM and 1-1 OFFICE HOURS

Each month Katherine Metz and Anjie Cho will co-teach with two live zoom calls to discuss the material, ask questions and review each module.

Students also have access to 1-1 time with the teachers. Each month you can sign up for an optional 20-min private call with Katherine or Anjie.

With Katherine and Anjie’s guidance, Pure Professor will guide practitioners to develop their craft and sharpen their skills with the knowledge that the information comes directly from our Black Sect lineage and our master H.H. Grandmaster Professor Lin Yun. 

This advanced BTB feng shui program is recommended for:

• Any Mindful Design School program graduate
• Experienced Black Sect feng shui (BTB) practitioners
• Graduates of a comparable feng shui program

Note: This program is NOT RECOMMENDED for newbies or beginners. This is an advanced course for feng shui practitioners and scholars.

This is not a certification program, and does not offer training on how to offer feng shui consultations.

Without prior feng shui training, you will not have the background knowledge and experience to understand the material.

What you receive each month:

October 2025 to September 2026

1. SELF STUDY MATERIALS:

Each month you will receive a package of carefully curated documents, audio and/or video files

2. LIVE ZOOM Q&A - optional

Access to two 1-hr live Zoom calls with Katherine and Anjie where students can bring questions about the modules that month

• Calls are scheduled on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 2:30-3:30pm Eastern time

• All zoom classes will be recorded
  

3. 20-MIN CALL WITH KATHERINE OR ANJIE - optional

Each student can sign up for one optional 20-min office hours call with Katherine or Anjie, once a month

STUDENTS RECEIVE LIFETIME ACCESS TO ALL MATERIAL

Is there a live component?

Yes, the self-study course is supported by two live zoom q&a and one optional 20-min call each month.

This is along with self-study materials to review at your own pace. You will review the materials provided each month on your own and bring your questions and review the monthly content together with Katherine and Anjie. 

How long is the course? 

Pure Professor, Green Dragon year, is a 12-month advanced studies course. You'll receive a new module on the 1st of each month.

Green Dragon starts October 1, 2025 and ends September 30, 2026.

Students may choose to study beyond one year to receive the entire body of work:

• Green Dragon: October 2025-September 2026
• Red Phoenix: October 2026-September 2027
• Black Tortoise: October 2027-September 2028
• White Tiger: October 2028-September 2029
  

Are the years sequential? 

Pure Professor is an on-going advanced studies program that is loosely sequential.

Students are invited to enroll at the start of the current available year (Green Dragon) and need not have enrolled in the prior years to understand the material.

Students are encouraged to study all four years (48 modules) to receive the entire body of work curated by Katherine Metz.

Will I receive a certificate? 

Students shall not receive any certifications. This is not a certification program and is also not for suitable for beginners/newbies to BTB feng shui
